Refindo overview

Refindo is a local data recovery app for macOS. It scans internal and external drives, USB media, SD cards, HDDs, and SSDs that macOS can still detect. Quick Scan finds recent deletions, while Deep Scan performs sector-by-sector analysis for harder cases.

Preview supported photos, documents, PDFs, and other files before recovery, then save selected files to a different destination. Refindo supports APFS, exFAT, FAT32, and NTFS recovery workflows on macOS 12 or later, including Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Scanning, preview, and recovery run locally on the device. Free scan and preview are included, with up to 500 MB of recovery at no charge.
